Our client is a prominent European consumer electronics retailer, assembling high-performing agile teams to drive data-driven innovation
In this pivotal Senior Product Owner position, you will connect commercial priorities with product strategy, data engineering, and technology capabilities
Your core mission is to replace fragmented local reporting with unified, scalable analytics products that integrate directly into operational workflows
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the product strategy, roadmap, and prioritized backlog for international analytics products
- Translate commercial decisions and operational challenges into actionable data tools and decision-support systems
- Partner with cross-functional engineering, business, and AI teams to deliver scalable analytics solutions
- Create intuitive dashboards, scorecards, alerts, and self-service analytics capabilities for end users
- Consolidate country-specific reporting requests into reusable global tools to eliminate duplication
- Guide the evolution from descriptive dashboards toward automated, predictive, and AI-assisted recommendations
- Establish clear metrics for product adoption, business value, and overall performance
- Align analytics initiatives with corporate data models, architecture standards, and KPI governance frameworks
- Coordinate product rollouts, user training, cross-team dependencies, and lifecycle management for all analytics tools
Requirements
- At least six years of hands-on experience as a Product Owner in Analytics, Data Science, or Business Intelligence
- Comprehensive understanding of data modeling, data architecture, ETL processes, and modern analytics platforms
- Proficiency with visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI
- Practical exposure to technical tools like SQL or Python
- Outstanding stakeholder management capabilities with experience unifying technical and commercial teams
- High data literacy and a strong track record of building user-centric analytics products
- Background in retail, e-commerce, category management, pricing, or commercial steering is advantageous
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like Google Cloud or BigQuery, along with agile product practices and Jira
- Action-oriented mindset focused on delivering tangible commercial value
