Job description
We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Analyst (Manual Tester) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills and experience in manual software testing. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of web and mobile applications by creating and executing test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams. Responsibilities
- Analyze business and functional requirements.
- Create, review, and execute test cases and test scenarios.
- Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, Sanity, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.
- Work closely with Developers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners to resolve issues.
- Validate bug fixes and perform re-testing.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Prepare test reports and communicate testing progress to stakeholders.
- Ensure software meets quality standards before release.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Manual Testing or QA.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
- Experience with Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, and Integration Testing.
- Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Bugzilla.
- Ability to write clear and comprehensive test cases.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation.
- Experience testing web and mobile applications.
- Exposure to API testing using Postman is a plus.
- Basic understanding of Automation Testing (Selenium) is an advantage.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
