Job description

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance multiple native iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI.
  • Design and implement scalable, high-performance mobile solutions that meet user and business requirements.
  • Collaborate with product, UX, and backend teams to translate business requirements into intuitive mobile experiences.
  • Integrate and consume RESTful APIs and backend services to support application functionality.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex application issues across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices, coding standards, and architectural decisions.
  • Create and execute unit tests and UI tests to ensure application quality, reliability, and performance.
  • Monitor application health and proactively identify opportunities for optimization and modernization.
  • Support the full mobile application lifecycle, including feature enhancements, maintenance releases, and defect resolution.
  • Collaborate effectively within Agile development teams and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong focus on native iOS development.
  • Recent hands-on experience developing and supporting native iOS applications in production environments.
  • Professional experience developing applications using Swift.
  • At least 1 year of experience developing user interfaces with SwiftUI.
  • Experience supporting and enhancing existing enterprise-grade iOS applications.
  • Experience working with multiple iOS applications rather than a single mobile product.
  • Experience integrating and troubleshooting backend APIs and web services.

Technical Skills

  • Strong proficiency in Swift and native iOS application development.
  • Experience developing applications targeting modern iOS platforms, including iOS 18.
  • Understanding of iOS frameworks, application lifecycle management, memory management, and performance optimization.
  • Experience consuming RESTful APIs, JSON services, and backend integrations.
  • Experience with Xcode, Objective-C, UIKit, Swift and Apple’s native development ecosystem.
  • Knowledge of mobile design patterns, architecture principles, and secure coding practices.
  • Experience writing and maintaining unit tests and UI automation tests.
  • Familiarity with Git-based source control and collaborative development workflows.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience modernizing legacy iOS applications to Swift and SwiftUI.
  • Experience developing applications that support enterprise business operations.
  • Experience improving application performance, stability, and user experience through data-driven enhancements.
