We are seeking a Cyber Mission Integration and Capability Planner to support the integration of Special Access Program (SAP) capabilities into USSF cyberspace warfare operations and help mature the directorate’s processes, governance, and analytical capabilities. This role serves as both a mission integrator and S9 capability builder, connecting SAP-enabled capabilities, cyber operations, organizational design, analysis, and operational learning to improve cyber support for Space Mission and Systems Deltas.

Work you’ll do

As a Cyber Mission Integration & Capability Planner on the Cyber Defense & Resilience team, you will be responsible for:

  • Integrating Special Access Program-enabled cyber capabilities into cyberspace warfare planning and execution in support of Space Mission and Systems Deltas
  • Translating mission needs into capability recommendations, governance actions, and operational priorities across technical and mission stakeholders
  • Conducting studies, assessments, and analysis to identify gaps, inform decisions, and improve cyber mission effectiveness
  • Developing and maintaining processes, briefing materials, and decision-support products that support organizational design, planning, and operational learning
  • Coordinating with U.S. Space Force leadership, acquisition stakeholders, mission partners, and technical teams to align cyber capabilities with mission requirements

  • Ability to provide clear guidance to others, Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in network engineering, computer science, information systems, software engineering, programming, or another cyber-related field
  • 7+ years of professional technical experience in cyber defense or cybersecurity, including engineering, networking, systems integration, solutions development, cyber operations, or mission support
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience
  • Experience in at least 3 of the following areas: containerized or virtualized environments, including Docker, Kubernetes, VMware, or Amazon Web Services (AWS); network access points used for traffic collection and aggregation, including Gigamon; data storage solutions, including network file system (NFS), distributed storage, or Ceph; data analysis tools, including Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, or Splunk; Agile frameworks; Linux operating systems, including Red Hat or Kali; Windows operating systems; network infrastructure and data flows; or security applications, including Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), or Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS)
  • Active Top Secret clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information eligibility, ability to satisfy Special Access Program access requirements
  • Ability to work on-site in Colorado Springs, Colorado five days a week.
  • Ability to travel 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting space mission systems, Special Access Program integration, cyber operations, organizational design, force design, studies and analysis, lessons learned, or senior stakeholder engagement
  • Experience developing process documentation, governance recommendations, briefing materials, and decision-support products
  • Experience working with U.S. Space Force leadership, operational and acquisition communities, federally funded research and development center organizations, or contractor partners

At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $95,600 to $159,300.
