Experteer Overview As a Software Engineering Technical Leader, you will guide the Secure Workload Unified Agent across multiple OSs and architectures, shaping low-level systems software. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver runtime security capabilities and platform enhancements for enterprise environments. You will mentor engineers while driving high-quality, scalable platform enablement. This role offers impact across a broad enterprise footprint and the chance to work near kernel-level software in a security-focused team. Compensation / Benefits * Design, develop, and optimize low-level software components for the Unified Agent using C, focusing on OS and kernel-level functionality * Develop and maintain support for Linux, IBM AIX, IBM Power, IBM System z, Solaris, and other enterprise platforms * Diagnose complex software issues via crash/core dump analysis and OS internals to improve reliability and performance * Collaborate with Secure Workload, Tetragon, and Isovalent teams to deliver runtime security capabilities and platform enhancements * Mentor junior engineers through technical guidance, design discussions, and code reviews Tasks * Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of related experience, or Master’s with 8+ years, or PhD with 5+ years * Experience developing software in C for Linux or UNIX-based OS * Experience with OS internals, kernel programming, or kernel driver development * Experience with compilers, cross-platform compilation, and debugging techniques including crash/core dump analysis * Experience developing software for enterprise OS or multiple processor architectures Key requirements * medical, dental, and vision insurance * 401(k) with Cisco matching * paid parental leave * paid time off including holidays and vacation * sick leave with carryover * volunteer days optional
