Job Responsibilities
Lead the development of embedded space payload applications
Design software architectures for new programs
Shape future proposal efforts
Communicate technical information in consumable formats to internal and external audiences
Mentor & empower rising software engineers
Collaborate across sites and across disciplines
Due to the importance, this position offers a Sign-On Bonus. (Note: Current BAE Systems employees are ineligible for sign-on bonuses.)
Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship status.
Requirements
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance
- 15 years of software and leadership experience
- Familiarity with RF and software-defined radios
- Strong written and verbal technical communication skills
- Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Previous experience leading space programs
- Familiarity with automated build pipelines such as, gitlab, Jenkins, Ansible, & Atlassian tools
- Familiarity with OpenC3’s COSMOS (https://openc3.com/)
Benefits & conditions
Full-Time Salary Range: $153377 - $260743
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
