Cloud SW QA and automation Engineer

We are looking for experienced Software QA Engineers skilled in networking, security, tunnel and route orchestration, and IDPS. Candidates will handle manual test validation, performance/scale testing, and automation of our security and cloud solutions. Experience with complex network system validation and Python scripting for automation is required., * Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Experience: 8-15 years as a Senior software QA Engineer in networking/security environment., * Strong understanding of the OSI model and networking protocols, including TCP/IP, UDP, DHCP, HTTP, DNS, routing protocols and VLANs, as well as familiarity with SAML, SNMP, GRE, IPSEC, Syslog, MDM, and SSH.

• Skilled in designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases for complex network orchestration, intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDPS), and cloud deployment network solutions.
• Proficient in route/tunnel orchestration solutions, IDPS, threat modelling, security practices, and Cloud products/IaaS (AWS, Azure).
• Experienced in log analysis, issue debugging, and effective collaboration with cross functional teams to address customer/field issues.
• Expertise in configuring a wide range of security devices, such as firewalls, VPNs, IDPS, switches, and routers.
• Strong proficiency in data networking, encompassing Layer 2/Layer 3 switching, routing, and WLAN technologies.
• Practical experience with configuration and testing of Active Directory, LDAP, and other authentication sources.

Virtualization & Cloud Technologies:

• Strong hands-on experience with VMware, KVM, Hyper-V.
• Experience testing Security/Cloud products (AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge/Experience in testing applications for Public Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Cloud)
• Exposure to container-based technologies and Kubernetes

System load and performance testing expertise

• Experience with load/performance test systems such as Breaking Point and Spirent.
• System scale, performance and/or solution-level testing experience.
• Strong command of Linux CLI commands and Bash scripting.

Test Automation & Scripting:

• Proficiency in Test automation development using Python, debugging failures, maintenance of scripts.
• Experience in test script development for automated validation using Pytest framework.

The expected salary/wage range for this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level.

• United States of America: Annual Salary USD 155,500 - 315,000 in California The listed salary range reflects base salary. Variable incentives may also be offered.
