Systems Software Engineer - Infrastructure

Experteer Overview In this role, you will build and improve the core automation and tooling that powers NVIDIA’s firmware teams. You’ll design scalable CI/CD pipelines, developer tooling, and AI-powered workflows to accelerate firmware development. You’ll work across hardware and software, solving current and future problems, and driving toil-reduction through scalable solutions. This position sits at the GPU Firmware Infrastructure team, shaping how firmware engineers ship reliable, high-performance GPUs. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams to enable faster, more trustworthy product releases. Compensation / Benefits * Build and supervise core infrastructure for firmware teams: build systems, regression farms, CI/CD pipelines, developer tooling, and top-level services * Debug and resolve issues across hardware, software, infrastructure, and team processes to prevent recurrence * Invent and deploy AI-powered workflows that scale team output * Learn, document, and automate processes and tooling for internal and external projects * Identify and eliminate toil by turning improvements from proof-of-concept to scalable solutions Tasks * 5+ years of software, infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE engineering * Hands-on experience with modern CI/CD and test automation, including pipeline architecture and debugging * Experience with device BIOS/firmware or low-level embedded software and tooling for engineers who write it * Solid understanding of services and data behind infrastructure: web services, REST APIs, SQL databases (PostgreSQL) * Strong Python and Linux shell proficiency * Excellent communication and collaboration skills Key requirements * equity * comprehensive benefits package * competitive salary
