Data Governance & Delivery Lead

Experteer Overview In this role you will shape how ERGO NEXT scales its data capabilities by designing and running a formal intake and governance model across data teams. You will own cross-team sign-off, ownership boundaries, and delivery visibility, partnering with data leaders and business stakeholders. You’ll translate business needs into actionable data requests and embed data requirements early in planning cycles to prevent blockers. Compensation / Benefits * Design and run a structured intake and prioritization process across Data Science, Analytics Engineering, and Data Engineering * Own the operating model for cross-team sign-off, ownership boundaries, escalation paths, and delivery traceability * Partner with data leaders to surface risks and prevent downstream impact from schema or pipeline changes * Translate business needs from Claims, Finance, Actuarial, Product, Underwriting into clear data requests * Create visibility into commitments, risks, and milestones for senior leadership * Embed data requirements in product, engineering, and planning cycles to avoid blockers Tasks * 7+ years in a data-intensive environment * Strong working knowledge of Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, and Data Science functions and handoffs * Experience owning or building intake, governance, and delivery processes across multiple teams * Ability to understand data pipelines, schema changes, semantic layers, data quality, and downstream dependencies * Strong communication skills to run meetings with senior business and technical leaders * Proven ability to influence without direct authority and to document decisions Key requirements * annual performance-based incentive program * partially subsidized medical plan * fully subsidized vision/dental options * life insurance * disability insurance * 401(k)
