Lead Information Security Analyst - IAM

Experteer Overview As Lead Information Security Analyst, you will guide IAM operations to align security with business goals. You’ll blend strategy, governance and hands-on execution to strengthen controls, automate processes and scale IAM solutions. You will partner with IT, security, HR and business teams to mature identity governance and risk management. This role offers the chance to drive meaningful change across RBAC, PAM, cloud, and lifecycle management in a collaborative, influence-driven environment. You will be a trusted liaison shaping IAM strategy and validating outcomes. Compensation / Benefits * Analyze and optimize IAM operations to align with security and business objectives * Oversee identity governance, access policies, and regulatory compliance * Collaborate across IT, cybersecurity, HR and business teams to improve IAM processes and automation * Develop IAM metrics and reporting to track effectiveness and compliance * Support IAM program initiatives including RBAC, PAM, Cloud, Non-Human Accounts and lifecycle management * Ensure onboarding/offboarding and access reviews to maintain security and reduce risk * Manage IAM projects and pursue continuous improvements in governance and user experience * Act as liaison between business stakeholders and IAM technical teams to translate needs into IAM strategies * Monitor and enhance IAM risk management processes and mitigate security gaps * Engage with vendors, auditors, and regulators to ensure best practices in IAM operations Tasks * 5+ years of Information Security Analysis experience or equivalent * 3+ years of Identity Access Management experience preferred * 2+ years of Technology or Business Controls experience * 2+ years of Escalation Management or supervisory experience * 3+ years of financial industry operations or systems experience * Experience with IAM tech such as Okta, Saviynt, Microsoft Azure AD, CyberArk or similar * Familiarity with authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, LDAP) and compliance frameworks * Proven ability to manage IAM projects, optimize processes, and drive operational efficiencies Key requirements * Health benefits * 401(k) Plan * Paid time off * Disability benefits * Parental leave * Tuition reimbursement
