Job description
Experteer Overview As a Rail Systems Coordinator at AECOM, you will oversee rail systems delivery across all project phases for the High-Speed Rail Program. You’ll coordinate design, construction, integration, and commissioning while aligning with program standards and regulatory requirements. You will facilitate collaboration among design-build teams, PMCs, and Authority staff to resolve technical issues and ensure milestones are met. You’ll apply systems engineering and project management best practices to deliver complex rail projects and support strategic rail oversight. Compensation / Benefits * Plan and coordinate rail systems delivery across all phases, ensuring alignment with PM processes * Resolve rail systems issues through design-build coordination, interface management, installation, integration, testing, and commissioning * Monitor construction and system schedules; validate look-ahead plans and critical milestones * Support contract, third-party, and technical issue resolution * Develop and improve strategies, policies, and tools for rail systems oversight * Apply systems engineering principles consistently across projects * Provide direct support to the Deputy Program Construction Director on special projects and reporting Tasks * BA/BS + 6 years of experience or equivalent * Experience in infrastructure project delivery, rail systems engineering, or project/construction management * Experience on large-scale transportation or rail projects * Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and resolve issues * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Familiarity with system integration and commissioning of complex rail projects * Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools * Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to rail systems projects Key requirements * medical benefits * dental benefits * vision benefits * life insurance * AD&D * disability benefits
