Experteer Overview As a Platform Engineer on the DevXOps Platform team, you build and evolve foundational platforms that power product development. You work at the intersection of IaC, cloud-native tech, and DevOps to deliver scalable, secure platforms with robust CI/CD, self-service capabilities, and observability. You join a cross-functional environment where platform decisions enable rapid, reliable software delivery. This role offers meaningful impact through architecture, automation, and production support. Compensation / Benefits * Design and implement platform solutions using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) * Collaborate with development teams to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability of platforms * Design, implement, and manage AWS-based cloud infrastructure (EKS, EC2, RDS, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch/CloudTrail) * Set up and manage logging, monitoring, and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Alertmanager, CloudWatch, Log Analytics) * Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) and SDLC documentation * Build and maintain containerized solutions with Kubernetes and Docker (EKS, other K8s) * Contribute to architectural decisions for the DXO Platform * Develop automation and self-service tools (Ansible, Crossplane, custom scripts) * Provide production support ensuring high availability and performance * Apply security best practices and ensure compliance across platforms * Automate testing procedures and ensure accessibility standards across platforms Tasks * 5+ years in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Infra Engineering, or SRE * Hands-on AWS production experience; familiarity with Azure * Strong Linux proficiency and scripting (Python or similar) * Deep CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions or GitLab CI * Experience with Ansible * Containerization and orchestration (Podman/Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift) * IaC experience with Terraform * Monitoring/logging experience (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch, Log Analytics) * Git proficiency; familiarity with GitOps and semantic versioning * Artifact management familiarity (JFrog Artifactory or Nexus) * Networking and security fundamentals * Excellent communication; mentoring, documentation, and presenting complex concepts * Soft skills: problem-solving, collaboration, adaptability, continuous learning, passion for platform reliability * Preferred: AWS, Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, or Kubernetes certifications * Preferred: JFrog Artifactory/Xray admin, OpenShift Operators, Kubernetes CRDs * Experience integrating ITSM/ServiceNow into CI/CD; Backstage knowledge * Terraform, Packer, or Crossplane expertise Key requirements * medical, dental, vision insurance * retirement benefits (401(k)) * paid holidays and vacation * compassionate and sick days * bonus eligibility * Long-term incentive potential
