Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you will advance AI-enabled instrument intelligence and lab automation within Danaher’s AI Product and Imaging Innovation team. You’ll translate product concepts into scalable AI architectures and lead complex AI implementations across multiple functions and timelines. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners to align AI roadmaps with product goals and measurable KPIs. This is a remote position in the Eastern US with a focus on delivering enterprise-grade capabilities that enhance user experience and device performance. You will help shape the future of intelligent instruments in life sciences, diagnostics, and biotech with cutting-edge AI, robotics, and multimodal AI Compensation / Benefits * Collaborate with VP and team to develop enterprise-grade AI capabilities and platforms for intelligent instruments and autonomous labs * Design and implement advanced AI systems, including multi-level and multi-domain agentic architectures for instrument intelligence and lab automation * Translate product concepts into concrete AI architectures aligned with product success criteria and KPIs * Lead the technical implementation of complex AI projects spanning multi-quarter timelines * Drive innovation in the AI software stack to maximize value from instruments via AI systems * Build AI roadmaps for imaging products across various verticals in collaboration with stakeholders and experts Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, robotics, automation, life sciences or related field; MS or PhD preferred * Extensive experience in Life Science/Diagnostics/Tech with Agentic Systems, LLMs, Automation, Robotics, or Multimodal AI (3+ of listed areas) * Proven track record of end-to-end AI projects in imaging applications within life sciences or healthcare * Strong programming skills in Python or C++ and deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV) * Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) * Knowledge of hardware acceleration (TPUs, GPUs, ARM-CPUs) and ability to communicate with cross-functional and non-technical stakeholders Key requirements * remote work eligibility * paid time off * medical/dental/vision insurance * 401(k) * bonus/incentive pay * comprehensive benefits package
