Experteer Overview As Principal Data Scientist for CoreAI, you partner with executives and engineering to translate product questions into targeted data science investigations. You will identify high ROI data opportunities and drive cross-team collaboration to guide product growth for Microsoft’s developer-focused AI suite. You’ll mentor other data scientists and engineers, operationalize models, and leverage AI to accelerate workflows. This role offers impact at scale through data-driven decision making and strategic analytics. Compensation / Benefits * Provide time-critical analyses to inform major investments * Build trusted partnerships to align stakeholders through clear analysis and communication * Identify and prioritize high ROI data opportunities for self and team * Contribute to infrastructure and culture enabling scalable data insights * Mentor data scientists, engineers, and PMs * Operationalize models and reporting; leverage AI to accelerate workflows Tasks * Doctorate in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field AND 3+ years data-science experience * OR Master’s Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field AND 5+ years data-science experience * OR Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field AND 7+ years data science experience * OR equivalent experience * Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements Key requirements *
