Oracle Cloud ERP PPM Lead

Experteer Overview In this role you lead end-to-end Oracle Cloud PPM implementations, driving project financial management and governance for clients. You partner with stakeholders to define project-centric processes and translate requirements into designs and configurations. You’ll mentor junior consultants and work with technical teams on integrations and reporting. This position combines business processes with Oracle Cloud to accelerate digital transformation and value realization. Compensation / Benefits * Lead end-to-end Oracle Cloud PPM implementations (discovery, design, configuration, testing, deployment) * Serve as the functional lead for PPM modules, providing SME guidance and solution leadership * Assess current-state project management and accounting processes; identify gaps and improvement opportunities * Define future-state processes across project planning, execution, costing, billing, and reporting * Translate business requirements into functional designs, configurations, and solution architecture decisions * Facilitate client workshops to gather requirements, validate solutions, and drive stakeholder alignment * Configure Oracle Cloud PPM modules (Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Accounting, Project Contracts) * Design and support P2P/R2R-related processes (Project-to-Close, Contract-to-Cash) and integrations * Ensure seamless PPM-Financials integration (revenue recognition, cost collection, accounting) * Define project structures, costing models, billing methods, and revenue recognition rules * Support data migration activities (project setup, open balances, historical data) * Lead and support testing cycles (SIT, UAT) with defect resolution * Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies across the PPM workstream * Mentor and guide junior consultants; share knowledge * Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, reporting (OTBI/BI Publisher), and extensions * Support business development activities (solutioning, demos, proposals) * Contribute to Peloton methodologies, accelerators, and PPM best practices Tasks * 8-10+ years delivering ERP solutions with focus on Oracle Projects/PPM * Minimum of 2 full lifecycle Oracle Cloud (Fusion) PPM implementations * Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud PPM modules: Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Accounting, Project Contracts * Strong understanding of project-driven business models (professional services, engineering & construction, IT services) * Deep knowledge of project financial processes (cost collection, revenue recognition, billing) * Cross-functional knowledge and integration with Oracle Financials (GL, AP, AR) and procurement/sourcing * Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable Oracle Cloud solutions * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills * Excellent communication and stakeholder management; client-facing consulting experience * Willingness to travel and lead workstreams in distributed teams Key requirements * Medical, dental, and vision insurance * 401K with company match * Flexible Spending Program * Technical and business skills training * Performance-based bonus * Paid holidays and PTO
