Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you will drive Business Operations technology, focusing on cost data attribution, data integrations, and AI-enabled workflows across Procurement, Finance, and HR. You’ll lead FP&A cost attribution work, build a scalable, traceable cost-allocation PostgreSQL database, and connect multiple data sources. You’ll apply AI features to optimize reporting and processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and shape production-ready data tools for a data-driven business. Compensation / Benefits * Lead development for the FP&A Cost Attribution Project * Serve as lead developer for a bitemporal PostgreSQL cost-allocation database * Build and maintain data integrations from Jira, NetSuite, Device42, and Bitbucket * Support project deployment toward Q1 2027 and provide documentation and handoff materials * Lead engineering efforts to support Business Operations teams * Build data pipelines and automate reports for Finance and HR * Act as a general-purpose developer across Procurement, Finance, and HR * Identify and implement native AI features in existing tools (e.g., NetSuite, Jira, Confluence) * Build custom integrations using APIs, MCP, or similar protocols to connect LLMs to internal systems * Evaluate and propose AI-assisted or automated alternatives for manual processes * Coordinate with Security to ensure data-handling controls when integrating AI tools Tasks * Professional software development experience (3-5 years) * Strong backend language experience (Python) * Strong SQL skills and PostgreSQL experience (preferred) * Experience building and consuming REST APIs with authentication and data transformation * Experience with Jira/JSM, NetSuite, Bitbucket, and CMDB-type tools * Experience integrating AI APIs (Anthropic or OpenAI) into applications * Git/version control proficiency in a Bitbucket environment * Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders * Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities * Prior experience in financial services, trading, or data/compliance-sensitive environments * Experience with cost allocation, chargeback, or FinOps-like frameworks * Experience building internal tools or dashboards for non-technical users * Exposure to procurement or vendor management systems * Strong problem-solving for rapid market condition changes Key requirements * discretionary performance bonus * comprehensive benefits package * employer-paid medical, dental, vision * retirement contributions * paid time off
