Job description

  • Lead the design and development of Python-based applications and automation solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to other developers.
  • Review code and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.
  • Develop reusable Python scripts and automation frameworks.
  • Analyze complex technical problems and provide effective solutions.
  • Work closely with architects, developers, QA teams, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Participate in technical discussions, design reviews, and architecture decisions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve application performance, reliability, and automation.
  • Support production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure, and well documented.

Requirements

We are looking for an experienced Lead Python Developer with strong hands-on experience in Python development, scripting, automation, and application development. The ideal candidate will have strong technical leadership skills and the ability to design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain scalable Python-based solutions., * 8+ years of experience in software development with strong hands-on Python experience.

  • Strong expertise in Python scripting and automation.
  • Excellent knowledge of Python programming concepts, data structures, functions, modules, exception handling, and object-oriented programming.
  • Strong experience developing Python scripts for automation, system integration, data processing, and operational tasks.
  • Experience with REST APIs, JSON, XML, HTTP/HTTPS, and API integrations.
  • Strong experience with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.
  • Experience with Bash/Shell scripting and automating repetitive operational processes.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
  • Experience with Git and version-control practices.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated build/deployment processes.
  • Experience with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, coding standards, testing, debugging, and code reviews.
  • Experience writing unit tests and integration tests using tools such as PyTest.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills., * AWS or Azure cloud experience.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar CI/CD tools.
  • Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  • Experience with microservices architecture.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience working in large enterprise environments.
