Experteer Overview In this Data Architect role, you design and optimize data platforms to empower clients with data-driven decisions. You will shape data strategies, mentor engineers, and ensure scalable, efficient systems in a collaborative consulting environment. You’ll lead architecture work across pipelines, warehouses, lakes, and analytics platforms, while driving governance, security, and innovation. This is a chance to influence client outcomes at scale and apply AI and advanced analytics to real-world challenges. Compensation / Benefits * Define data strategies and roadmaps with senior leadership * Architect robust, scalable, and secure data solutions (pipelines, warehouses, lakes, analytics platforms) * Establish data governance, quality, security, and regulatory compliance * Mentor and lead technical teams to deliver high-quality projects * Evaluate emerging tools and platforms to enhance data capabilities * Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and engineers to integrate data solutions * Monitor and optimize performance, scalability, and cost efficiency * Engage with clients as a trusted data advisor * Create and maintain architecture diagrams, data models, and operational docs * Lead incident resolution and root-cause analysis * Drive innovation by applying AI, ML, and advanced analytics Tasks * 10+ years in data engineering or architecture * 3+ years in a leadership role * Experience delivering large-scale data solutions in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) * Expertise in data modeling, ETL, and data pipeline development * Experience with Databricks and/or Snowflake; Delta Lake and Spark-based transformations * Snowflake schema design and optimization; Snowflake features like time travel * Proficiency in Python, SQL, Java, or Scala * Experience with Hadoop, Spark, Kafka * Hands-on with cloud-native data services (e.g., Redshift, Synapse, BigQuery) * Strong database knowledge (relational, NoSQL, graph) * Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes * Excellent leadership and communication skills * Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver under pressure * Willingness to travel 30-50%; hybrid in-office schedule * Preferred certifications such as Databricks Professional or Azure Data Engineer Associate * Analytical problem-solving and business impact translation * Strong organizational and project management skills * Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders * Ability to work across global client sites Key requirements * medical, dental, vision insurance * 401k with company features * annual bonuses * unlimited flexible time off * ten paid holidays * paid parental leave
