Job description
Experteer Overview In this role you guide the design, development, and modernization of enterprise data platforms and analytics ecosystems. You act as the technical lead for data engineering initiatives, setting architecture standards and mentoring teams to deliver scalable, secure data solutions. You partner with architects, data scientists, analysts, and clients to define strategies and roadmaps for cloud and hybrid environments. You will shape data models, warehouses, and lakehouse architectures while ensuring quality, observability, and DevSecOps practices. This position offers the chance to drive data modernization and cloud adoption in mission-critical settings. Compensation / Benefits * Lead design, development, and deployment of modern data platforms, pipelines, and analytics solutions across cloud and hybrid environments * Define technical architecture, standards, and best practices for data integration, storage, processing, and governance * Architect and oversee scalable ETL/ELT workflows, data lakehouses, and enterprise data platforms * Drive data modernization and migration initiatives including cloud adoption and legacy system replacement * Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineers * Collaborate with solution architects, data scientists, business analysts, and clients to define strategies and implementation roadmaps * Design and optimize data models, warehouses, and large-scale analytical environments * Establish data quality, observability, security, reliability, and operational processes * Lead DevSecOps and CI/CD adoption to automate deployments and improve reliability * Oversee performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization of data platforms * Conduct technical reviews, architecture assessments, and code reviews * Support proposal development, technical estimations, and business development activities * Serve as a trusted technical advisor to project leadership and client stakeholders Tasks * U.S. Citizenship or Green Card and ability to obtain and maintain a Federal or DHS public trust * Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field * 7+ years in data/analytics engineering or related disciplines * Experience leading technical teams and complex data initiatives * Proficiency in Python, SQL, Spark/ PySpark, and modern data engineering frameworks * Experience designing and optimizing large-scale data pipelines and ETL/ELT solutions * Experience architecting enterprise data platforms, lakes, warehouses, and cloud-native solutions * Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or multi-cloud environments * Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, or similar platforms * Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, automation, and DevOps practices * Experience with Docker and Kubernetes Key requirements * Medical, Rx, Dental & Vision Insurance * 401(k) Retirement Plan * Parental Leave * Paid Holidays * Tuition Reimbursement, Certifications & Learning Opportunities * Employee Referral Program
