Job description

Design and develop software applications using the Twelve-Factor App methodology from functional requirements
Design and develop applications using Angular, Java, REST API, and Spring Boot
Develop innovative UI design and web components in collaboration with other experts
Assess emerging technologies and recommend improvements to developer experience and delivery efficiency
Implement GUIs using AngularJS, JavaScript, JSP, HTML, CSS, XML, AJAX, jQuery
Collaborate with product design and engineering teams to understand requirements
Design web page components compliant with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act (29 U.S.C. 794d)
Design and develop Microservices using Spring Boot, Java, and RESTful architecture
Develop SOAP-based web services using JAX-WS, Apache Axis, and WSDL
Apply DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket); work with AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform and containerization
Collaborate with business analysts, QA, and project managers; stay current with emerging technologies
Develop unit tests for Java classes using JUnit, Mockito, and PowerMock
Attend customer technical/design/development meetings and propose viable technical solutions
Provide guidance and support to junior/mid-level developers
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Master’’s + 5 yrs, OR Bachelor’’s + 7 yrs, OR 13+ yrs in lieu of degree, * 10+ years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, React

Extensive design and programming skills in Java and JEE technologies
Extensive hands-on experience with Angular UI framework
Experience on Agile projects with strong knowledge of Agile terminology and tools (e.g., Agility)

Microservices and RESTful API design/development
Automated testing: JUnit, Mocking frameworks, TDD, BDD (Cucumber)
