We are looking for a skilled and self-driven Backend Engineer to lead and implement our ONDC integration efforts. You will work closely with product managers, ONDC protocol teams, and cross-functional engineering groups to develop and maintain reliable APIs and backend infrastructure aligned with ONDC specifications., * Design and implement backend services and APIs to integrate with ONDC protocols.

• Work with KiranaPro’s product and tech team to ensure compliance with ONDC buyer/seller app standards.
• Handle data modeling, performance tuning, and secure API development.
• Collaborate with external ONDC interfaces like Beckn protocol and gateway services.
• Manage and monitor ONDC transaction flows (discovery, ordering, fulfillment, settlement).
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code.
• Conduct code reviews, write unit and integration tests.
• Maintain high availability and reliability for ONDC-related services.
• Integrate with logistics, payments, and catalog management systems as part of ONDC flow.

• 2-6 years of experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js, Typescript.
• Good experience with REST APIs, WebSockets, and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or similar databases.
• Understanding of API security, OAuth2, JWT, and related standards.
• Experience with Docker, ORM’s like Prisma, and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
• Familiarity with ONDC or Beckn protocol is highly preferred.
• Solid problem-solving and debugging skills.
