Job description
Experteer Overview In this role you will support the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center program by delivering and maintaining IT systems that meet DoD standards. You will work with cross-functional teams to deploy on-site and in cloud-ready environments, keeping systems secure, available, and compliant. You’ll troubleshoot complex environments, manage patches and hardening, and ensure data integrity and disaster recovery. This is a mission-driven position focused on reliability, security, and operational readiness. Compensation / Benefits * Install, configure, and maintain Linux and Windows servers (physical and virtual) * Monitor, tune, and troubleshoot systems to ensure high availability * Manage patches, upgrades, and security hardening per DoD policies * Support backups, DR, and data integrity * Assist in access management and security configurations * Collaborate with IT teams on software deployments and integration * Maintain up-to-date system documentation * Participate in incident response for performance, security, and availability * Mentor junior/mid-level engineers and coordinate with Government network owners Tasks * US Citizen with ability to obtain/maintain TS/SCI clearance * Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years experience or Master’s with 6+ years (or equivalent experience) * DoD 8140 intermediate certification or DoD 8570 IAM Level II or higher * Experience with Active Directory, LDAP or similar directory services * Cloud experience with AWS and Azure * Experience administering Linux and Windows, network administration, and standard networking protocols (HTTP/HTTPS/SSL/TLS/SMTP/DNS) * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Self-starter with effective cross-functional communication Key requirements *
