Job description
As a systems engineer for Combat Mission Support System (CMSS), you’ll be a key member of a cross-functional team responsible for developing, integrating, and sustaining advanced SATCOM and Electronic Warfare capabilities to ensure mission success in dynamic and contested environments. You will apply your expertise to support hardware/software integration, testing, and troubleshooting of complex systems while mentoring technical staff and driving innovative solutions.
Requirements
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master’s degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred., * 10+ year’s experience working knowledge of Super High Frequency (SHF) SATCOM system operations.
- 10+ year’s experience Working knowledge of Electronic Warfare (EW) operations.
- Experience working in a fastpaced environment and adjusting to evolving priorities., * Success leading the systems development life cycle with strong proficiency with requirements management and system modeling tools
- Creative thinker motivated to apply technical standards and methodologies to develop solutions
- Collaborative team player with the ability to provide technical leadership and position others for success
- Strong presentation and communications skills with experience in the art of negotiation and the ability to meet challenging customer requirements with win-win solutions
- Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others
- Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation

$124,397.00 - $138,003.00 parental leave, flex time, 401(k) United States, Colorado, Colorado Springs Jul 20, 2026, * Research oriented work, alongside award winning teams developing practical solutions for our nation’s security
