Job description
Based in Torrejon, Spain, you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATO’s Digital Endeavour. You will join CSU Torrejon that is responsible to manage, deliver and maintain assigned Communication and Information Systems (CIS) products and services for the Agency’s customers during peacetime, crisis and war throughout its assigned AOR and as otherwise directed. As the local service provider and Service Management Authority (SMA) for the Combined Air Operations Centre - Torrejon (CAOC-T), it supports the NCIA in delivering secure, reliable end-to-end services under the Enterprise Service Delivery Model (ESDM). We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Senior Technician (IT Change Management), who will take on the following roles and responsibilities:
- Undertakes basic risk management activities.
- Maintains documentation of risks, threats, vulnerabilities and mitigation actions.
- Uses standard techniques to elicit, specify, and document requirements for simple subject areas with clearly-defined boundaries.
- Assists in the definition and management of requirements.
- Applies tools, techniques and processes to administer, track, log, report on and correct configuration items, components and changes.
- Assists with audits to check the accuracy of the information and undertakes any necessary corrective action under direction.
- Applies tools, techniques and processes to administer, track, log, report on change requests.
- Applies change control procedures for standard, low-risk changes.
- Identifies common types of infrastructure and non-infrastructure changes in information technology.

Requirements
- Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with2 years post-related experience. Or a secondary educational qualification with 4 years post-related experience.
- 2 years of practical experience in managing change request from initiation to closure while engaging with relevant process owners and stakeholders.
- 2 years of experience in configuration management, maintaining CMDB/inventory accuracy, performing audits and reconciliations, managing software licenses, and administering external vendor support contracts and SLAs.
- Experience in leading small teams.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
