- Providing round-the-clock monitoring using industry-leading SIEM, IDS and threat intelligence tools
- Investigating security alerts, identifying malicious activity, and supporting clients under active attack
- Producing timely and accurate incident reports and threat intelligence summaries
- Assisting with client onboarding, including deployment of SIEM, EDR, and vulnerability management tools
- Supporting with Active Directory and firewall administration tasks
- Collaborating closely with the wider SOC team on threat hunting and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements

With over 25 years of experience, the organisation provides services including vulnerability management, penetration testing, red team exercises, incident response, EDR, MDR, and security operations through a CREST-certified SOC., Skills/Must Have:
- Excellent communication skills and confidence in a client-facing environment
- A strong interest in cyber security and threat detection
- Awareness of current trends, attacks, and challenges within the cyber landscape
- Ability to stay calm, analytical, and effective under pressure
- Flexibility to work within a shift pattern covering 24x7x365 operations
- Willingness to travel to the Doncaster office several times per month to collaborate with the team
Desirable Skills:
- Hands-on experience in a SOC, IT security, or network monitoring environment
- Familiarity with SIEM, IDS, or EDR technologies
- Industry certifications such as Microsoft SC-200, AZ-500, or SC-100
