This opportunity is ideal for a cyber security professional looking to join a skilled and collaborative Security Operations Centre, supporting protective monitoring and incident response across multiple sectors.   • Providing round-the-clock monitoring using industry-leading SIEM, IDS and threat intelligence tools
  • Investigating security alerts, identifying malicious activity, and supporting clients under active attack
  • Producing timely and accurate incident reports and threat intelligence summaries
  • Assisting with client onboarding, including deployment of SIEM, EDR, and vulnerability management tools
  • Supporting with Active Directory and firewall administration tasks
  • Collaborating closely with the wider SOC team on threat hunting and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Excellent communication skills and confidence in a client-facing environment
  • A strong interest in cyber security and threat detection
  • Awareness of current trends, attacks, and challenges within the cyber landscape
  • Ability to stay calm, analytical, and effective under pressure
  • Flexibility to work within a shift pattern covering 24x7x365 operations
  • Willingness to travel to the Doncaster office several times per month to collaborate with the team

Desirable Skills:

  • Hands-on experience in a SOC, IT security, or network monitoring environment
  • Familiarity with SIEM, IDS, or EDR technologies
  • Industry certifications such as Microsoft SC-200, AZ-500, or SC-100
