Data Engineer

Are you a Senior Data Engineer who enjoys leading complex engineering initiatives while remaining hands-on? We’re looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join a high-performing data engineering team delivering enterprise-scale data platforms and products. You’ll combine technical leadership with hands-on engineering, helping shape best practice while delivering reliable, scalable and secure data solutions.

What you’ll be doing o Lead the design, development and delivery of complex data pipelines and data products. o Provide technical ownership across large-scale engineering initiatives. o Drive engineering standards, automation and best practice across the team. o Work closely with Data Owners, Architects and stakeholders to deliver high-quality technical solutions. o Mentor engineers and promote knowledge sharing across the wider team. o Lead investigations into production issues, root cause analysis and service improvements. o Champion modern engineering practices, CI/CD and continuous improvement.

o Extensive experience delivering enterprise data engineering solutions. o Strong background building data pipelines and integrations. o Excellent SQL and experience with technologies such as SQL Server, Oracle or Snowflake. o Experience with cloud platforms including Azure or AWS. o Strong scripting skills using SQL, Python or PowerShell. o Experience with CI/CD, deployment automation and engineering best practice. o Proven ability to provide technical leadership, mentor engineers and influence engineering direction. o Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
