Job description
You’ll work within a client-focused development team delivering and supporting digital solutions across a large and varied customer base. Rather than spending all your time maintaining a single product, you’ll work across different projects and technical challenges in small development teams.
The Role
Depending on your level of experience, your responsibilities will include:
- Full-stack development using C# and modern .NET
- Building and integrating Web APIs
- Working with SQL Server
- Front-end development using JavaScript and TypeScript
- Developing and supporting CMS-driven websites and applications
- Working across multiple client projects
- Translating requirements and user stories into working software
- Maintaining code quality through code reviews, testing and CI/CD

Requirements
You’ll need a strong commercial background in C#/.NET development and experience working across both back-end and front-end development.
CMS experience is important for these positions, with experience of Umbraco particularly attractive. Experience with Kentico or another .NET-based CMS would also be relevant.
Previous experience working for a digital agency or consultancy would be a significant advantage because of the varied, client-led nature of the work.
We’re particularly interested in developers with experience across:
- C# / .NET / .NET Core
- Web APIs
- SQL Server
- JavaScript / TypeScript
- HTML / CSS
- Umbraco, Kentico or other CMS platforms
- Git / source control
- Unit and automated testing
- CI/CD
React experience is not required.
For the Mid-Level position, we’re generally looking for 2+ years of relevant commercial development experience.
For the Senior position, you’ll need a stronger depth of commercial .NET experience and the ability to operate effectively at senior level across client projects.
A strong academic background in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline will also be valued.

This is a permanent position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with core hours of 10am to 4pm., * 26 days’ holiday plus public holidays
