System Administrator

• Setup, administration, operation, and continuous development of the HashiCorp Vault, JFrog Platform, and Keycloak platforms
• Automation of administrative tasks and optimization of provisioning, deployment, and operational processes
• Monitoring system availability, performance, and security; analyzing and resolving issues; and conducting error and root cause analyses
• Planning and executing updates, migrations, backup, and recovery measures; and creating and maintaining technical documentation

• Bachelor of Science degree in IT or comparable, in-depth IT training with relevant professional experience
• Basic understanding of network technologies and protocols (TCP/UDP, IP, DNS, DHCP, http/https, etc.) and initial experience with currently relevant approaches in the context of authentication and authorization (OIDC, SAML, RBAC, etc.)
• Knowledge of modern DevOps technologies and practices (e.g., Vault, Keycloak, Artifactory, CI/CD, IaC, GitOps)
• Strong Linux skills, ideally with SLES and/or RHEL
• Strong knowledge of version control, specifically Git
• Proficiency with JSON, YAML, and TOML
• A basic understanding of software-based isolation techniques (traditional Type 1+2 virtualization, containerization, etc.) is desirable
• Very good German language skills

Compensation is based on the collective bargaining agreement for the public sector of the federal states (TV-L). We offer you a position in pay grade 10 of the TV-L (the specific pay grade will be determined based on the actual circumstances of each individual case).

If the necessary requirements are met, there is the possibility of having professional experience taken into account when determining the experience level or of receiving an allowance. In addition, if the necessary requirements are met, there is the possibility of becoming a civil servant in the technical career track of the higher service, with opportunities for advancement up to pay grade A 13., This is a full-time position that can generally be split into part-time hours. The position is permanent.
