Job description

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Robot Application Developer to design, develop, and integrate software for autonomous robotic systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in C++, Python, ROS/ROS 2, perception, motion planning, and robotics software development., * Develop robotics applications using C++ and Python.

  • Design and integrate sensor pipelines (LiDAR, cameras, IMUs, and other sensors).
  • Implement perception, localization, SLAM, motion planning, and control algorithms.
  • Develop applications using ROS/ROS 2 and integrate with robotic hardware.
  • Build and test robotic solutions using simulation tools such as Gazebo or Isaac Sim.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, support field testing, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of robotics software development experience.
  • Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
  • Hands-on experience with ROS/ROS 2.
  • Experience with perception, localization, motion planning, or robotic control systems.
  • Familiarity with sensor fusion and simulation environments.
  • Strong debugging, communication, and documentation skills., * Advanced degree in Robotics or a related field.
  • Experience with autonomous vehicles, drones, or industrial robotics.
  • Knowledge of safety-critical software and ML-based perception.
  • Open-source contributions to robotics projects.
