Job description

We are seeking a talented UX/UI Designer to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating user-friendly and visually appealing designs that enhance the user experience. The UX/UI Designer will work closely with our development team to create intuitive and engaging digital experiences for our students, parents, and faculty., Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and design user-friendly interfaces for our website and other digital platforms

  • Conduct user research, interviews, and surveys to gather insights and inform design decisions
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to communicate design ideas and concepts
  • Develop and maintain design guidelines and style guides to ensure consistency across all digital platforms
  • Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to continuously improve the user experience
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX/UI design to incorporate into our designs
  • Work closely with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently
  • Communicate and present design concepts and ideas to stakeholders and gather feedback for iteration

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in UX/UI design, graphic design, or related field

  • 2+ years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of UX/UI design projects
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, InVision, etc.
  • Experience with user research and usability testing
  • Knowledge of web design best practices and responsive design principles
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Passion for education and a desire to create meaningful experiences for students, parents, and faculty
