Job description
We are seeking an experienced Identity Architect specializing in Active Directory (AD) to support a large-scale domain consolidation and Active Directory security initiative within a complex enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience designing, managing, consolidating, and securing large Active Directory environments with multiple domains, trees, and forests., * Lead or support Active Directory domain consolidation activities.
- Assess existing domains, trees, forests, trusts, and identity infrastructure.
- Develop architecture and migration strategies for consolidating Active Directory environments.
- Implement AD hardening and security controls to strengthen the overall identity environment.
- Identify security risks, legacy configurations, and architectural gaps within Active Directory.
- Work with infrastructure, security, and identity teams to establish Active Directory standards and best practices.
- Provide technical guidance throughout domain migration and consolidation activities.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Microsoft Active Directory architecture and administration in large enterprise environments.
- Extensive knowledge of AD Domains, Trees, and Forests.
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory domain consolidation and migration initiatives.
- Strong understanding of AD Hardening and Active Directory security best practices.
- Experience identifying and remediating Active Directory security vulnerabilities and configuration weaknesses.
- Knowledge of Group Policy (GPO), DNS, trusts, authentication, and domain/forest architecture.
- Ability to assess existing Active Directory environments and recommend secure, scalable target-state architectures.
- Experience supporting complex, multi-domain and multi-forest enterprise environments., Architectural Services, Authentication, Best Practices, Computer Security, DNS (Domain Name System), Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Windows NT Group Policy, Migration Strategy, Risk Analysis, Technical Leadership
