Job description
Quality Control Specialist 1 contributes to achieving consistent product, enhancing customer satisfaction, minimizing defects and waste, and providing continuous improvements for the organization. These efforts are crucial for ensuring that the product that is being installed meets or exceeds expectations. Responsibilities
- QC Documentation: The teammate will input, maintain, and track deficiencies within the QC software system.
- Site QC Audits: The teammate will assist more senior technicians in troubleshooting problems and providing solutions to problems. They will be responsible for visual inspection to ensure the installed product meets project requirements, company standards and local codes.
- QC Project Reporting: Project reporting involves documenting and communicating the progress, findings, and outcomes of quality control activities within the project.
- Review of Project Documents: This individual will review project documents for accuracy and completeness, checking for errors, inconsistencies, missing information that is related to the project drawings and specifications.
- Mentoring and Training: The teammate will be expected to attend training sessions with the other QC and project team members.
Requirements
- 2+ years of construction or fabrication experience
- Osha 10
- Basic computer skills

- Required to complete at least twenty Continuing Education Hours or obtain a professional certification by December 31st of each year.
Travel Requirements
- 0-5% of the time will be spent traveling to the job site(s)/office locations.

- Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
