Join Barrow Wise Consulting, LLC today.Responsibilities: The Application Developer 3 will support Barrow Wise’s NYC Department of Social Services project and perform the following duties:Develop System DesignDevelop and prepare documents for the general design of solutions that meet system and security requirements, including the selection of alternative approachesDevelop specifications for databases, communication systems, hardware, network, security, storage, and software configurationsDevelop structured diagrams for the specifications of databases, communication systems, computer or storage area networks, security, or network programsDevelop and maintain PL/SQL Packages, Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, and SQL statements in Oracle 12cDevelop system documentationDevelop operational and installation procedures for communication systems, hardware, network, security, storage, and softwareDevelop guidelines and upgrade techniques of new operational procedures for the support of databases, hardware systems, operating systems software, network systems software, security, and client-server systemsDevelops, compiles, maintains, and documents configurations of the following: databases, servers, computers, security and network monitor systems, packaged programs, macros, utilities, and communication systemsPerform System CodingCreate the program code in .NET environmentProvide general programming assistance to other MIS programmers/projects as may be neededTest and maintain the program code to make sure it meets all the functional requirementsWork on-site in NYCAn ideal candidate has the following: U.S. CitizenshipBachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Software

Engineering or a related field4 Years Experience with developing and maintaining PL/SQL Packages, Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, and SQL statements in Oracle 12c4 Years of experience with Performance Tuning, including tuning/optimizing SQL, PL/SQL code4 Years of experience working with XML Processing and object-oriented programming with large objects4 Years of experience with data structures, data manipulation, databases, design, programming, testing, and implementation4 Years of experience with technical and user documentation and software conversionJoin the team at Barrow Wise Consulting, LLC, for a fulfilling and engaging experience!
