Oracle Transportation Management Functional Consultant

Our client is seeking an experienced Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) Functional Consultant to join an ongoing Oracle Transportation Management implementation currently approximately 40% complete. This consultant will work closely with transportation and supply chain stakeholders to help drive the project through the remaining implementation phases, including configuration, testing, deployment, and go-live support. The ideal candidate will bring deep OTM functional expertise, strong transportation business process knowledge, and experience joining projects that are already underway. This individual will serve as a key liaison between business users and the project team, helping ensure successful adoption and delivery of the solution. Responsibilities

• Partner with transportation, logistics, and supply chain teams to gather and refine business requirements.
• Assess completed project work and provide recommendations to support successful project execution.
• Configure and optimize Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) modules and functionality.
• Facilitate design workshops, solution reviews, and stakeholder meetings.
• Support end-to-end transportation business processes, including planning, execution, carrier management, and freight settlement.
• Develop and execute functional test scenarios and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Collaborate with technical teams on integrations and data-related activities.
• Assist with issue resolution, risk mitigation, user training, and change management efforts.
• Support deployment, go-live activities, and post-production stabilization.

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Transportation Management (OTM).
• Experience supporting at least one full-cycle OTM implementation.
• Proven ability to join projects mid-stream and successfully guide them through completion.
• Strong understanding of transportation and logistics operations.
• Experience leading client-facing workshops, requirements sessions, and process discussions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
