This role requires deep technical expertise in enterprise networking, with an emphasis on implementing IPv6, VXLAN, RADIUS, and segmentation solutions. The position involves managing complex migration projects, troubleshooting live issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployment and stabilization., * Lead end-to-end planning and execution of SD-Access fabric and campus network deployments.

  • Develop and translate high-level architecture designs into detailed low-level deployment plans and configuration standards.

  • Create scalable deployment models for large enterprise environments that ensure repeatability and efficiency.
  • Identify potential deployment risks, define mitigation strategies, and establish success criteria.
  • Develop standardized configurations for routing, segmentation, policy enforcement, QoS, and application-aware routing within SD-Access solutions.
  • Write comprehensive Method of Procedure documents, deployment runbooks, rollback plans, and validation checklists.
  • Provide real-time troubleshooting support during deployment activities, including handling issues with IPv6, VXLAN, RADIUS, and wired/wireless access.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, project management, and vendor teams to ensure smooth deployment, management, and post-migration support.
  • Review and improve deployment standards, documentation, and operational handoff processes based on project feedback and lessons learned.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of enterprise networking experience, with a focus on large-scale SD-Access and campus network deployments.
  • Proven hands-on experience with SD-Access fabric, VXLAN, EVPN-VXLAN, segmentation, VRFs, VLANs, and network policy enforcement.
  • Extensive experience supporting IPv6 deployment or migration initiatives in production environments.
  • Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, underlay and overlay routing architectures, route redistribution, and failover mechanisms.
  • Practical expertise with RADIUS, network access authentication, and wired/wireless network scenarios.
  • Ability to troubleshoot real-time deployment issues, perform root-cause analysis, and clearly communicate resolution steps.
  • Exceptional technical documentation skills, with experience creating deployment runbooks, validation checklists, and operational handover packages.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • Availability to work on-site in Austin, TX, with flexible support for occasional after-hours activities.
  • Candidates must demonstrate real-world project involvement, not just theoretical knowledge or certifications.
