Net Developer

** must have two professional references. We are looking for a .NET developer with approximately 5+ years of professional, internship, co-op, or equivalent project experience to support our Dealer Management Systems Integration team initiative. This role is ideal for an early-career developer who has hands-on exposure to application development, API creation, and system integration, and is ready to continue growing technical skills in a collaborative Agile environment. The selected candidate will work with senior developers, product owners, and team leads while contributing to enhancements, maintenance, testing, API development, integration support, and modernization efforts across the software development lifecycle. Responsibilities include: Must have experience with C#, , .NET Core, or related object-oriented programming concepts through professional work, internship, co-op, academic, or project-based experience * Hands-on exposure to front-end development concepts, including ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, or similar technologies

• Basic experience creating, consuming, testing, and supporting Web APIs using .NET Core or similar frameworks
• Exposure to unit testing, API testing, debugging, and code validation practices
• Basic awareness of security, performance, scalability, and maintainability considerations in application development
• Contribute to enhancements, maintenance, and modernization efforts for existing web applications with guidance from experienced team members
• Basic familiarity with HTML, XML, CSS, JSON, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Basic SQL experience, including writing simple queries, understanding relational database concepts, and supporting data-related troubleshooting
• Exposure to REST API design, service integrations, request/response handling, JSON payloads, authentication concepts, and troubleshooting API connectivity issues; familiarity with SOAP services is a plus
• Assist with integrating internal and external systems by supporting API endpoints, data mapping, error handling, logging, and coordination with consuming applications
• Basic understanding of object-oriented programming principles
• Familiarity with source control concepts, including Git, branching, pull requests, and code reviews
• Interest in learning cloud, containerization, and deployment concepts such as Azure, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines
• Awareness of software design principles such as SOLID, clean code, and reusable components
• Support code refactoring, defect resolution, and small feature development in alignment with team standards
• Familiarity with Agile tools such as Azure DevOps, ADO, or JIRA
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
• Follow team development standards, deployment processes, documentation practices, and technical best practices
• Demonstrate curiosity, accountability, and a continuous learning mindset
• Communicate effectively with developers, product owners, business partners, and quality assurance team members
• Experience with personal, academic, internship, or open-source software projects is a plus
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating closely with a team
