Job description
Systems Administrator Storage (Hybrid Roseville, MN) We are seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to support a large, global B2B high tech company. In this role, you will configure, manage, and optimize enterprise systems across manual (bare metal) and automated environments, ensuring high availability, security, and performance. You will partner with cross functional teams to deploy, upgrade, and secure infrastructure while driving automation and reliability. This is a 6 month contract role (possible extensions), 40 hours/week, hybrid in Roseville, MN (2 days onsite per week). This is a W2 role with Stage 4 Solutions. Health benefits and a 401K are offered. Responsibilities
- Install, configure, maintain, and optimize Linux/Windows servers to ensure high availability and performance, while continuously monitoring system health and proactively troubleshooting issues to maintain operational reliability.
- Deploy, configure, and manage OpenStack environments (manual and automated using Ansible, Fuel, or Kolla).
- Perform upgrades across OpenStack releases; provision storage backends (Ceph, Cinder volumes) and image repositories.
- Manage and optimize public cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and virtualization technologies (VMware, VCF, KVM, OpenShift, Kubernetes).
- Implement security measures including hardening, patch management, and vulnerability mitigation.
- Manage enterprise storage technologies (Fibre Channel zoning, iSCSI, NFS, CIFS, NetApp, Pure, PowerStore).

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in system administration.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SSH, HTTP).
- Hands on experience with enterprise servers and storage solutions (LVM, SAN, NFS).
- Experience with identity/auth systems (LDAP/AD).

Excellent troubleshooting, coordination, and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Certifications such as RHCSA, RHCE, CKA, COA.
