Application Administrator

For a leading consumer goods manufacturer in Nieuwegein, we are looking for an Application Manager who is energized by improving, managing, and optimizing business applications within a dynamic production environment. The organization is innovative, people-oriented, and constantly evolving. IT plays a crucial role in supporting production processes, logistics, and quality control. What will you do? As an Application Manager, you are responsible for the functional and technical management of business-critical applications. You work closely with colleagues from IT, production, logistics, and finance to ensure that all systems function optimally. Your duties include: - Managing, monitoring, and optimizing business applications (such as ERP, MES, and WMS systems). - Resolving incidents and coordinating changes. - Implementing updates, testing, and documenting changes. - Serving as a point of contact for key users and suppliers. - Translating user needs into functional solutions. - Contributing to projects related to digitalization and process improvement. You are analytically strong, communicatively skilled, and know how to bridge the gap between technology and operations. You feel at home in a production environment where IT and ‘hands-on’ work together. Additionally, you bring: - MBO+/HBO work and thinking level, preferably in ICT or Business Administration. - Experience with application management, preferably in a production or logistics environment. - Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, or Exact). - Experience with SQL, reporting tools, and basic scripting is a plus. - Proactive attitude and focus on quality and continuous improvement.
