Job description
You will serve as the first line of support for all hardware, software, and network-related issues, providing direct technical assistance to approximately 110 users across multiple office locations. The ideal candidate enjoys working directly with people, takes pride in delivering excellent service, and can manage multiple technical priorities in a fast-paced environment. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Responding promptly to help desk requests, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues in person, by phone, and via remote tools
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows and macOS computers, laptops, tablets, printers, copiers, scanners, and peripherals
- Setting up and supporting user accounts, email, and Microsoft 365 applications
- Troubleshooting and maintaining local and remote connectivity, including Wi-Fi, VPN, and cloud-based services
- Supporting conference room AV systems and video conferencing tools
- Assisting with user onboarding and offboarding, including equipment setup and system access
- Maintaining IT inventory, equipment logs, and support documentation
- Coordinating with the firm’s third-party IT service provider for escalated issues and specialized tasks
- Supporting data backup, system updates, and proactive security best practices as directed by the Director of IT
Requirements
Do you have experience in macOS administration?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Minimum 3 years of hands-on IT support experience in a professional environment
- Strong troubleshooting skills for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and networking hardware
- Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft 365, including administration and common user issues
- Familiarity with Apple macOS environments
- Working knowledge of networks, including IP addressing, VLANs, SDWAN, firewall security, and Wi-Fi
- Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365 administration, and remote desktop tools
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate clearly with users of varying technical backgrounds
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
Preferred:
- Experience supporting users in a law firm or professional services environment
- Familiarity with any of the following platforms: Accounting Seed, Milana, Litify and/or Salesforce, RingCentral UCaaS, Fresh
Service, Bacon (Endpoint Management), and Mimecast
- Microsoft certifications (MCP, MCSA, or equivalent)
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field
