Job description
- Support the development of our .NET application that integrates with our Azure infrastructure and on-premises installations.
- Help understand the interaction between our proprietary hardware and software.
- Contribute to error logging, unit testing, bug fixing, and minor UI development in WPF/XAML during the early stages.
- Progress to a wider range of development tasks, including more challenging code development on our product after probation.
- Assist with DevOps-related tasks, including working with CI/CD pipelines to integrate and deploy code using Azure DevOps.
- Work day to day with the project leader and strategically with our CEO to support your growth and development.

Requirements
- We are looking for a junior Software Developer early in their career, ideally post-graduation with a few years of experience; additional experience in another role or function would be beneficial.
- Proficiency in C# and .NET, preferably .NET 6 or later.
- Experience with Visual Studio.
- Basic experience with WPF and XAML for desktop UI development.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Familiarity with debugging and issue resolution in Visual Studio.
- Exposure to unit testing tools such as MSTest, xUnit, or NUnit.
- Basic knowledge of Git and version control workflows.
- Interest in or exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools, especially Azure DevOps.
- Awareness of security principles in application development.
- Experience working with or calling REST APIs is desirable.
- Experience with .NET Blazor is desirable.
- Familiarity with Azure services such as App Services and Functions is desirable.
- Knowledge of logging frameworks such as Serilog or NLog is desirable.
- Exposure to hardware integration such as printers or cameras is desirable.
- Curiosity, strong problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and adapt quickly to new tools and technologies.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
- Comfortable receiving and incorporating constructive feedback.
- Reliable with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Enthusiasm for working in a startup or scale-up environment.
