Job description

Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivatedSOC Analyst Level 1to join our dynamic SOC team. As a Level 1 Analyst, you will be the first line of defence, responsible for monitoring, analysing, and responding to security events and incidents in real time. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience and grow within a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and analysesecurity alerts from SIEM and other security tools to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.Performinitial triageof security events and escalate incidents based on severity and impact.Investigate suspicious activity and respond to security events promptly.Document and track incidents, ensuring accurate and detailed reporting for follow-up analysis.Work closely with the SOC team to implement threat detection improvements and enhance overall security posture.Contribute to the development of incident response playbooks and procedures.Assist withvulnerability managementand proactive threat hunting to identify gaps and reduce risk.Stay updated on emerging cyber threats and trends to improve detection capabilities.Skills and QualificationsBachelor’s degreein Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).Strong understanding of security principles, network protocols, and operating systems.Experience with security tools such asSIEM,IDS/IPS,firewalls, andendpoint protection.Basic knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) is a plus.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Certifications such asCompTIA Security+,Certified SOC Analyst (CSA), or equivalent are desirable.OUR BENEFITSGrowth & Stability- Join a fast-growing company with exciting opportunities ahead.Competitive Salary- L1 certification: €22K L2 certification: Up to €25K.Career Development- Ongoing training and clear pathways for growth.Work-Life Balance- Enjoy a modern office in a prime location, with the flexibility to work from home one day a week.Team Culture- Be part of a dynamic, supportive, and collaborative environment.#J-*****-Ljbffr

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Strong understanding of security principles, network protocols, and operating systems. Experience with security tools such as SIEM , IDS/IPS , firewalls , and endpoint protection . Basic knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Certifications such as CompTIA Security+ , Certified SOC Analyst (CSA) , or equivalent are desirable.
