Job description

A vacancy for a ESCAN Radar & DASS System Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe.The successful applicant will join “TADME1 Eurofighter Electronic Warfare and Radar Team” and will take over several tasks within the team depending on the program needs: You will be supporting the Radar Equipment Team, which is a joint team comprising of Airbus and Supplier representatives as well as supporting other System equipment engineering tasks within our team.In particular:* Support the Mk1 Radar Equipment Development, Engineering and Integration/testing activities* Support DASS documentation review, integration activities and impact analysis on other A/C systems* Identify and support the resolution of equipment, integration, certification and quality issues* Support our team in equipment engineering activities* Regular business trips to support System Integration testing and meetings at AJT in Warton* We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:* Degree (Bachelor/Master) in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace or similar* More than 5 years of Experience working in Engineering Department.* Communication systems and data linksElectronic Warfare systems in general Experience in writing technical documentation (e.G. reports)* Willingness to work temporary at the aircraft and/or at the (sub) system integration rig (either in Spain or abroad)* Good knowledge in Equipment Engineering, preferably Eurofighter processes* Good System & Requirements Engineering know-how* Capability to work as part of in an international team and in a multinational project environment.* Negotiation Level of English is required.Knowledge of Airbus test system (MaTe/AIDASS)* Knowledge in MATLAB/Simulink* C/C++, Python)Take a look at some of our social benefits:* Hybrid model of working when possible, promoting the work-life balance.* Collective transport service subject to working calendar/home location.* Benefits such as life insurance, health insurance, employee stock options, retirement plan, or study grants.* On-site facilities (among others): free canteen, kindergarten, medical office.* Possibility to collaborate in different social and corporate social responsibility initiatives.* Permanent——-*By submitting your CV or application you are consenting to Airbus using and storing information about you for monitoring purposes relating to your application or future employment.We welcome all applications irrespective of social and cultural background, age, gender, disability, sexual orientation or religious belief.xbhjioe Wherever possible, we foster flexible working arrangements to stimulate innovative thinking.
