Job description

We are working with a highly regarded, technology-driven investment firm seeking a Quantitative Developer to join a specialist infrastructure team focused on building and optimising cutting-edge trading and research systems.

You will play a key role in designing, building, and enhancing the firm’s core trading and research infrastructure. The work sits close to the hardware and operating system level, with a strong focus on performance, efficiency, and scalability.

Responsibilities include:

Building and optimising low-latency trading systems

Developing high-throughput research infrastructure

Designing and maintaining distributed systems across global environments

Improving networking performance and reliability

Contributing to systems for testing, deployment, and monitoring

Working closely with engineers, researchers, and traders to improve system performance

Requirements

Degree in Computer Science or a related field (BS/MS/PhD)

Strong programming skills in C or C++

Solid understanding of core systems concepts, such as:
