Ultimately, you’ll help develop and ensure our technology solutions keep our company and our customers moving forward.\n \n \nPosition Summary\n \n As a Software Engineer - Digital Products, you will be a key member of the Digital Product team, contributing to the design, development, and support of scalable SaaS applications and enterprise digital solutions. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Data Teams, Designers, Quality Engineers, and Infrastructure teams to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions that meet business and user needs.\n \n In this role, you will lead development efforts on multiple application modules, support existing systems, and participate in building new software components. You will translate product requirements into technical designs, implement solutions, and ensure alignment with architectural standards. You will mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices, while contributing to a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and operational excellence.\n \n This position is based out of our corporate offices in Reading. PA. This an office first position, at least 4 days in office.\n \n \nKey Responsibilities\n \u2022 Act as the primary technical lead for multiple application modules, resolving customer and business issues efficiently while ensuring high-quality delivery.\n \u2022 Participate across the software development lifecycle-including discovery, framing, design, development, testing, release, and support.\n \u2022 Design, implement, test, and maintain backend and frontend components for digital products and SaaS applications.\n \u2022 Produce clean, well-documented, maintainable code adhering to coding standards and best practices.\n \u2022 Mentor and review code from junior engineers, including onshore and offshore team members.\n \u2022 Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and Designers to understand requirements and translate them into technical designs and modules.\n \u2022 Design backend database schemas, implement normalization principles, and write complex SQL queries to support product features.\n \u2022 Develop automated unit and UI tests to ensure code quality and identify defects early.\n \u2022 Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance across multiple applications.\n \u2022 Contribute to architectural decisions, recommending scalable, reusable, and maintainable solutions.\n \u2022 Participate in test planning, quality assurance, and user acceptance testing.\n \u2022 Document systems, technical designs, and dependencies to facilitate team knowledge sharing.\n \u2022 Engage in other digital product initiatives and projects as assigned.\n \n, n \nPhysical Requirements:\n \n -The physical and mental demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
