Job description

Administer and manage Snowflake databases, schemas, warehouses, users, roles, and RBAC.
Monitor and optimize Snowflake performance, compute, storage, and query workloads.
Perform SQL query optimization and performance tuning.
Troubleshoot Snowflake connectivity, performance, data loading, and production issues.
Support Snowflake security, governance, backup/recovery, and environment management.
Monitor and troubleshoot Apache Airflow DAGs, workflows, scheduling, and pipeline failures.
Support ETL/ELT, data pipelines, data loading, and data quality activities.
Work with Data Engineering teams on Snowflake and pipeline-related issues.
Participate in production support, incident management, RCA, monitoring, and automation.

Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Administrator / Snowflake DBA with 12+ years of experience with strong expertise in Snowflake administration, SQL, performance tuning, and production support, along with working experience in Apache Airflow and data platforms., * 12+ years of experience in Snowflake Administration / DBA / Data Platform Engineering.

Strong hands-on Snowflake administration experience.
Strong SQL and database performance tuning skills.
Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow.
Working knowledge of ETL/ELT, data warehousing, and data pipelines.
Experience with production troubleshooting and incident management.
Knowledge of RBAC, security, data governance, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform).
Scripting knowledge in Python or Shell is preferred.
