Job description
Designs and executes integration, acceptance, regression, performance, end-to-end, and automated software tests; evaluates results and documents compliance with requirements., * Design and execute software tests and evaluate results
- Prepare test scripts, documentation, and test data
- Analyze internal system security
- Review results for conformance to design
- Develop and maintain test cases using designated automated test tools
Requirements
- Years of Experience: Five (5) years of relevant experience
- Clearance Requirements: IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive / Tier 3 (T3), required at proposal submission
- Certification Requirements:
- Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority
- Duty-based. Required before starting work if performing IA functions; exact category is not specified.
- Any other work-related qualifications needed for the role:
- Software-development and testing experience across system, regression, acceptance, end-to-end, performance, and automation testing
- Knowledge of automated test-case tools
Desired/Preferred:
- Experience testing AI/ML models, analytical applications, or cloud-hosted software solutions.
- Experience developing test plans, test cases, test scripts, test data, and test-results documentation.
- Experience performing unit, system, interface, regression, performance, integration, interoperability, negative, security, and user-acceptance testing.
- Experience performing end-to-end and automated software testing.
- Experience testing Section 508 accessibility requirements.
- Experience validating data-source connections, internal and external interfaces, datasets, and system configurations.
- Experience generating test transactions that exercise applicable data values and processing conditions.
- Experience maintaining Requirements Traceability Matrices and mapping test results to requirements.
- Experience identifying, documenting, prioritizing, and retesting software defects.
- Experience supporting defect severity classification, corrective actions, and POA&Ms.
- Experience verifying production deployments, data transmissions, authentication, and system performance.
- Experience testing APIs, web services, and enterprise integration interfaces.
- Familiarity with MuleSoft, EDI X12, XML, SQL, or high-volume transaction processing is preferred.
- Experience testing CAC/PKI authentication, role-based access, encryption, WAF, and other security controls is preferred.
- Experience with AWS cloud testing and development, test, and production environments is preferred.
- Experience integrating automated tests into Agile, DevSecOps, or CI/CD pipelines is preferred.
