Backend Engineer

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot, with guidance from senior engineers.
• Help build and improve RESTful APIs consumed by internal and external clients.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following team standards.
• Participate in code reviews, both giving and receiving feedback to grow as an engineer.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Learn about system architecture, performance, reliability, and security in a production environment.
• Contribute to deployment and monitoring tasks as part of your professional development., + Exposure to version control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL).

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Around 1-2 years of experience with Java and object-oriented programming (internships, traineeships, or professional experience all count).
• Familiarity with Spring Boot or willingness to learn it quickly.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs and how web applications communicate.
