Job description

We are seeking a Software Engineer to perform software development tasks supporting Navy programs. The successful candidate will have experience and knowledge of coding in Java/C++ on a Linux Operating System. This role requires development, integration, and troubleshooting experience.

Clearance: Candidates must be able to obtain and/or maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret level Security Clearance as a condition or continuation of employment.

Requirements

Development, integration, and troubleshooting experience with the Linux/Unix Operating System.
Experience in software development, integration, and troubleshooting using Java or Python.
Experience developing scripts using Bash or Python.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with K8s or K3s, Podman, or other containerization or orchestration technologies.
Basic understanding of Agile full software life-cycle development.
Desire to integrate, test, troubleshoot, and refactor software systems.
Linux administration access.
Experience with networking switches, routers, etc.
Experience debugging the HW/SW interface, TPMs, BIOS, etc.

Benefits & conditions

The anticipated pay range for this position is $70.00/hr to $100.00/hr. Please note that the final pay rate will be determined based on a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and the specific requirements of the role.
