We are seeking a skilled Hyperion SmartView Analyst to elevate our financial reporting and data analysis capabilities at VillageCare. This role demands collaboration with finance, accounting, and IT teams to ensure the seamless integration and accuracy of our financial systems. You will lead initiatives to revamp the budgeting system, enhancing Hyperion Planning functionalities for improved forecasting and efficiency. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining SmartView reports, optimizing Excel for user-friendly reporting, and supporting financial planning and budgeting processes. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot SmartView performance issues, provide end-user training, and monitor data accuracy across Hyperion applications. Familiarity with Oracle EPM Cloud and experience in scripting or coding languages such as SQL, VBA, or Python are advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities are essential for effective collaboration and troubleshooting in this dynamic environment. To excel as a Hyperion SmartView Analyst at VillageCare, candidates should possess a robust skill set built upon 3+ years of experience with Hyperion SmartView, Essbase, Planning, or related financial systems. Strong Excel skills are crucial, including proficiency in formulas, macros, and automation techniques with SmartView. Hands-on experience with Hyperion Planning functionalities for budgeting and forecasting is essential, along with a demonstrated ability to revamp, automate, or optimize budgeting systems. A solid background in financial reporting, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), or accounting is necessary, complemented by a strong understanding of budgeting and forecasting processes. Successful candidates will also display strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive approach in anticipating and preventing potential delays that could impact customer satisfaction. Effective communication skills are vital for keeping stakeholders informed about the status of actions and inquiries. A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field is required. Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- 3+ years of experience with Hyperion SmartView, Essbase, Planning or related financial systems
- Strong Excel skills including formulas, macros and automation with SmartView
- Hands-on experience with Hyperion Planning functionalities for budgeting and forecasting
- Experience in revamping, automating or optimizing budgeting systems using Hyperion Planning
- Background in financial reporting, FP&A or accounting with a solid understanding of budgeting and forecasting
- Anticipates and prevents delays or other things that can adversely affect the customer
- Keeping customers informed about the status of pending actions and inquiries
Education and certification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems or a related field
