Job description

KODA Technologies is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer/Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to provide information assurance and cybersecurity support to an Army program office in Program Acquisition Executive (PAE) Fires. This position will support the office’s information technology and information assurance (IT/IA) project staff, engineers, and customers. This position will be located at Redstone Arsenal, AL., * On-site Cyber Engineer for PAE Fires Program Office developing requirements and cybersecurity strategy for future Army weapon systems.

  • Primary reviewer of cybersecurity CDRLs focused on secure engineering practices and compliance with DoD and Army regulations.
  • Participate in technical reviews and Technical Interchange Meetings to assess proposed engineering changes for cyber engineering impacts.
  • Develop cybersecurity documentation and maintain Authority to Operate (ATO) for the life of the system.
  • Support cybersecurity strategy document development and maintenance.
  • Develop Plan of Action and Milestones for system deficiencies.
  • Work closely with cyber test engineers and participate in cyber test execution.
  • Identify cyber vulnerabilities and evaluate operational cyber defense capabilities.
  • Must be able to work closely with industry and government agency partners.

Requirements

  • BS degree in Information Security or related field
  • 10 years related technical experience.
  • 2 years weapon system experience.
  • DoD 8140 IAM II certification

Travel: 15%

Clearance: Active DoD Top Secret security clearance, or active Secret clearance with eligibility for Top Secret clearance is required.
